SWALLOWING THE SEAS, formed by Beanie Bhebhe in late 2008, are a contemporary response to the ethereal atmospheric and minimalist genres pioneered by such groups as Red House Painters, Cocteau Twins, Swans and Low .
The musicians included within the project also draw on more diverse elements such as free improvisation and contemporary classical music’s in order to complement the hauntingly polar capacity of Bhebhe and Whites vocal delivery.
Based in East London, the five piece are currently performing live to a diverse fan base whilst developing recorded material from debut EP ‘Pieces of Eight’ with a view to consistently evolving and documenting the dream like sentence of a dark wave of euphoria for new listeners. All recorded material is Composed and performed by B.H.Bhebhe.
