This month sees a new signing to Faun Records, London based 5 piece SWALLOWING THE SEAS, led by front man Beanie Bhebhe. Their music is haunting, Evocative and powerfully understated.
Following their Debut EP ‘Pieces of Eight’ Swallowing The Seas are currently recording their first Album due for release in 2010, through Faun Records.

This Sunday 8th November THE STEALS Front woman, Jayn Hanna, will be doing a spot of guest backing vocals, with Manchester Shoegazers ‘Daniel Land and The Modern Painters’ at the Album Launch Show at the Roadhouse in Manchester. The Band are currently on a UK tour Promoting ‘Love Songs For the Chemical Generation’, their Stunning new Album. Daniel Land also plays Guest guitar for THE STEALS Live, alongside Engineers Bassist and THE STEALS Guitarist and co-producer Mark Peters.
THE STEALS will be playing an exclusive show on October 15th for the El Campello 3rd birthday, Halifax, alongside TWILIGHT ELEVATORS and Italian 4- piece MAGPIE WEDDING ” contaminated folk, full of vintage bass distortion, baroque piano, and clumsy acoustic guitar” it promises to be a blissful night of music, THE STEALS will be joined by collaborator, guitarist and ENGINEERS Bassist Mark Peters and also Daniel Land from Manchester Shoegazers DANIEL LAND AND THE MODERN PAINTERS….
